The primer has cured and shrunk for 2 weeks and the block sanding stage is in full swing!

It's a painstaking process but if you want a decent finish, its essential to take the time, pay the money, and get this stage right!

Put the Orbital sander down!! Get the muscles fired up and rub it straight by hand. The End result will speak for itself 😉💪

Engine building isn't just a quick, slap together job with a rattle gun on a lazy saturday arvo on the beers 🍻🤪

There is HOURS of cleaning and prep work to be done on ALL engine components, long before a spanner is even picked up! If you're not doing this after an engine comes back from the machinist, you are not only robbing your customer, but you're also kidding yourself as an "engine builder".

If you want it done properly from start to finish, you know who to call 😉📞

If you visited your annual show back in the 70's, 80's and 90's, chances are you saw and heard the roar of the 4x mighty iron Lion's tearing it up twice a day!

This is from the early 90's with the then "supreme" injected 5litre VP Commodores! How those alloy VN SS wheels and T5 manual gearbox's stood up to this abuse is anyone's guess 🤷‍♂️

Kids of today will never know how good we had it 🍻

🖤 VT 5ltr REVIVAL UPDATE 🖤

After many, many... MANY hours the body work on the VT is nearing completion!

All the rust and previous dodgy repairs have been fixed, treated and sealed. Every trolley and hail ding has been hammered and dollied and finished with a fine filler to get the car straight as an arrow ↗️

After a final buzz down with 240, several coats of High fill will be laid down this week and left to shrink back for 7-10 days, before the 3 stage blocking process can begin.

Slowly but surely shes coming back to life!

Adelaide Burnouts once again hosts "Burnouts at the Bend" this Saturday with a HUGE field of Elite cars from all around Australia!

Sadly, the TRUEBLUE VN SS will not be there, but here's a flashback to the finals at the last event at Tailem Bend in March 💙🚙💥💨💨💨🔥
