MICROS READY TO UNLEASH AT THE BEND

Practice has been completed for the second annual Micros on the Murray speedway event at the Dragway at the Bend, with racing set to commence at 6pm tonight and tomorrow.

Entry is free with a ticket to the Airtouch 500 Supercars event (you can buy at the gate), and we can't wait to fill the embankment with speedway fans, both new and existing.

A big thank you to the Microsprint and Outlaw Kart competitors who have made the journey from around the country, and to Powri Racing Australia for their unbelievable efforts to build a brilliant surface and host the meeting this weekend.

The countdown is on for the Second Micros On The Murray at The Bend!

Join POWRi Racing Australia at the Dragway at The Bend on 11-12 September for an action-packed weekend of short track racing alongside the AirTouch 500 Supercars Enduro Cup!

Returning in 2026 with a wider and reshaped racing surface, Australia's best Microsprint competitors will go head-to-head inside the Live Action Arena.

Race Schedule

Friday 11 September
Practice: 1:00pm - 3:30pm
Racing: 6:00pm - 9:30pm

Saturday 12 September
Racing: 6:00pm - 9:30pm

The 3rd Annual All Bike Nationals Presented by Harley-Davidson is back at Dragway at The Bend!

Open to all ANDRA bike brackets including Top Fuel Motorcycle, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Extreme Bike, Competition Bike, Modified Bike, Junior Bike, Street Registered Bike, Street Registered Harley, Extreme Motorcycle, Grudge Harley and Scooter Drags.

Competitors can also take advantage of a Test & Tune on 9 October before race day.

Categories will be capped, so get your entries in early. Entries close 4 October at 11:59pm.

We look forward to welcoming riders and teams back for another huge weekend of motorcycle drag racing at The Bend!

IT’S ALMOST GO TIME!!!😁

The 2nd Annual Micros on the Murray is almost here, and we can’t wait to host another huge weekend alongside the AirTouch 500.

There’s been a massive amount of work going on behind the scenes, including a completely reshaped race track, and with the weather forecast looking fantastic, we’re pretty excited to finally get everyone here to go racing.

Here’s some important information for competitors and race fans ahead of the weekend.

THURSDAY
Bump in will be available from 10am.
Competitor and crew sign on will be open from 10am to 4pm.
If you’re arriving outside these hours, there will be 24 hour security on site.

A pit and camping map will be sent directly to drivers as we get closer to the event.

FRIDAY
Sign on will reopen from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Transponder registration will be available from 9.30am.
Cars will hit the new track for practice from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, before racing gets underway from 6pm.

SATURDAY
After another massive day of Supercars action, we’ll be back under lights with racing again from 6pm.

Once competitors and crew have signed on, your event band gives you access to the entire AirTouch 500 Supercars event across all three days.

For Supercars fans wanting to take in some speedway action, Micros on the Murray is included in your Supercars ticket, with shuttle buses running to and from the Dragway.

We’ve assembled a fantastic field from across Australia, including current Australian Champions Indy Rae and Logan Carter, and we’re genuinely looking forward to seeing what everyone can do on the completely redesigned track.

Work is powering ahead on the brand-new Microspeedway Circuit at Dragway at The Bend, and the finish line is officially in sight.

The track opens this September, bringing even more fast, fierce and action-packed racing to the Dragway.

MICRO SPEEDWAY TAKES SHAPE FOR SUPERCARS WEEKEND

The second edition of Micros on the Murray is approaching rapidly, with the newly widened track set to explode into action on the weekend of the Supercars Airtouch 500 at The Bend.

The shaping and banking of the track is now underway, under the guidance of Australia’s leading micro track expert Mitch Biner from Powri Racing Australia. With seven metres of additional width to utilise from the 2025 event, the track will measure around 181m on the poleline, with 10m wide straights, 12m corner entry and an 11m apex.

Entries are still open and we’re already seeing excellent representation from New South Wales and Victoria, along with South Australian’s looking to Defend The Bend from visitors.

Classes running are Junior and Senior Microsprints, and all variations of Outlaw Karts. Event times are as follow:-

Friday 11 September
Practice: 1pm – 3:30pm
Racing from 6pm

Saturday 12 September
Racing from 6pm

Entry to Micros on the Murray is FREE with a Supercars ticket, with a 3-day pass starting from $89 or just $15 for children aged 5-15 years. General Admission single day passes are $39 on Friday and $49 on Saturday (kids $9).

CALENDAR UPDATE: OFF-STREET MEETS

We have managed to squeeze an additional Outlaw Speed Shop Off-Street event into the packed October calendar, with seven dates now scheduled from September to March.

The November date has also been moved forward to the Friday night to accommodate the massive new Horner Performance Cash Days meet which is now taking place on Saturday 21 November. More details to follow.

The full Off-Street calendar to the end of March now reads as:-

CALENDAR UPDATE: TEST & TUNES ADDED!

We're keen to see our competitors perform to their best on the national stage in the next couple of months, as we gear up to host the NDRC - National Drag Racing Championship Grand Final for the first time. So we’ve added an extra three Test & Tune/licensing days into the calendar in the month leading up to the SPRY Spring Nationals, and entries are now open:-

Saturday 26 September – After the Outlaw Speed Shop Off-Street Drags

Friday 9 October – Night before the Harley Davidson All-Bike Nationals

Saturday 17 October – After the Outlaw Speed Shop Off-Street Drags

The first and last dates will be sanctioned with the October 9 date sanctioned by .

The venue is also available for Private Hire from Sunday 18 October – Wednesday 21 October inclusive, so if you want to make some last-minute passes before the Big Dance feel free to get in touch. We have competitive day and part-day rates available.
