💚🐍 Coach Spotlight – Coach Riley | U6 Red ⚽❤️

This week, we're shining the spotlight on our fantastic U6 Red coach, Riley! 👏

Riley is one of our young referees who has also taken on the role of coaching our U6 Red team this season. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every child has fun, feels included, and learns something new each game.
On the field, Riley is a constant source of encouragement and support, celebrating every player's efforts and modelling outstanding sportsmanship. Whether it's handing out high-fives, cheering on teammates, or helping an opponent up after a fall, Riley leads by example and is a true role model for our future soccer stars. ⭐⚽

⚠️ Weekend Fixture Update ⚠️

Following advice from both Camden Council and Campbelltown City Council, all football grounds across their local government areas have been closed for this weekend due to weather conditions.

As a result, Macarthur Football Association has postponed all scheduled matches this weekend.

Rather than rescheduling individual games throughout the season, the entire round will now move to next weekend. All fixtures scheduled for this weekend will be played on the corresponding weekend next week.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation, and most importantly thank you for helping us keep our players, families, volunteers and facilities safe.

While we were brought together on the pitch, we are all one big family away from football. 💚❤️

May is Vasculitis Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness for a rare and serious condition that causes inflammation of the blood vessels. Vasculitis can affect vital organs and tissues throughout the body, and currently there is no known cure.

Sadly, this disease has personally affected our Taipans family. Jo French, a member of our club through her husband Adam and son Deegan, and many others within our community, is currently battling this condition.

Jo is seeking specialised treatment in the USA, and as a club and community we want to rally behind her and her family during this incredibly difficult time.

🐍💚 Coach Spotlight – Coach Corey | U6 Green 💚🐍

A huge shoutout to our fantastic U6 Green coach, Corey! 👏⚽

Corey brings so much energy, patience, and encouragement to every training session and game. Our youngest Taipans are learning new skills, building confidence, and most importantly, having an absolute blast each week!

From the kids themselves, here’s why Coach Corey is such a legend:
