Hubby was re-spooling reels over an empty can of down the back of the boat, kids were playing with their new S**t friends in the live bait tank and I was on the deck using the live target..

I spotted this healthy 91cm casually cruising out the river, so I placed my lure behind her and slowly wound back towards her.. I felt her swallow the lure.. the most gentle underwater boof I’ve ever felt! I assumed she had no idea it was a lure as she didn’t take off, I set the hook and she was onnn 🎣
