Marcus Grimes specifically purchased the former Elena Nova for the 75th Sydney Hobart, having been planning to do the race for the past two years and finished 61st overall.

Home and packed away after a fantastic experience. For a boatload of rookies, we were pretty happy with finding Tassie then the Derwent and we learnt a lot. Over the next week or so we will upload some videos to give you a feel for what it was like on board so keep an eye out :)

A few shots from the Newcastle Bass Island race day, it was a challenging 220 miles and unfortunately not one of our best. The race had a bit of everything, rain, and more rain, close calls with whales breaching and cruise ships exiting the harbour. We overcame a couple of gear issues off the start and got back in the race, but struggled to manage the tricky storm cells and wind holes off Newcastle. On the flip side we finished and qualified the boat for Hobart so happy days and well done to the team who worked hard the whole way 👍
