We're not your average 'tunnel-visioned' swim group; Swimming is a hobby for people of all ages and backgrounds! Swimming is a great work out, focusing on your whole body and not putting any undue stress on joints or bones. Sydney Swimmers offer a wide range of programs to help you maximise your efforts in the water, offering:

- Morning Swim Squads
- Weekend Swim Squads
- SwimFit Social Progra

- Video & Stroke Correction Clinics - The most in-depth technique focused freestyle swimming class available
- Stroke Masterclasses - Specific fixed term programs that delve into a specific aspect of your swimming technique
- Ocean Swims - Practice all you've learnt in an environment that mimics event conditions
- Event Centric Training - Training for a particular event? We will develop a custom training program for you or a group of friends; you pick the time and the place!

The 100m club is growing! Congrats to the graduates of our Learn to Swim Program! ⭐️

Olga, Govinda, Melissa, and Shriram are all moving up to SwimFit, our entry-level Squad.

They started in various levels of the Learn to Swim program, from LVL 2 to LVL 4, with hard work and perseverance, they’re making waves into the Sydney Swimmers crew! 🏊‍♂️

Sundays are beach days! 🏖️

Some snaps from our recent Open Water Swims at Clovelly and North Bondi. We’ve got Introduction to Open Water, as well as Intermediate, and Advanced Open Water swims alternating fortnightly on Sunday mornings. These swims are open to all of our SwimFit & Squad swimmers, and our LVL 3-LVL 4 students under the Learn to Swim Program.

This Sunday’s cohort is full, so sign up early for next week at Clovelly! We’ve got Introduction to Open Water led by our resident beach coach, Job Wallis at 7:15am and a nice cuppa after your swim.

Heads up! Our Squad Sessions are now available on Sundays!

Starting March 15, you can now join us every Sunday at Victoria Park Pool.
We now have five Squad sessions every week:

📍 Sundays - VPP - 4:00pm
📍 Tuesdays & Thursdays - VPP - 6:00am
📍 Wednesdays - PAPP - 6:45pm
📍 Saturdays - PAPP - 11:00am

There’s a bit of a myth that joining a squad or ‘SwimFit’ means you have to be deadly serious, wear a plain black suit, and never smile.

We prefer the “Funky” approach (literally—nice cap!).

For our Comeback Swimmers—those of you returning to the lanes after years on dry land—the fear is usually that you won’t keep up. But under Coach Paul’s watch at Vic Park, it’s not about racing the person next to you.

It’s about your own progress, hitting huge milestones (welcome to the 50 Swims Club!), and feeling this good when you finish.

Summer is calling. The water is perfect. The only thing missing is you.
