In this video, our CHcC U16 and U19 academy students share their personal experiences from the Sri Lanka High Performance Tour — the cricket, the culture, the wildlife, the history, and the moments that will stay with them long after the stumps are pulled.

One of the things I’m most proud of with CHcC is this — when our players go home to Australia and New Zealand, they carry more than a scorebook.
They’ve seen elephants roam in the wild, one of the wonders of the world Sigiriya rock fortress.
They’ve experienced the warmth and hospitality of the Sri Lankan people firsthand.
Cricket develops the player. Travel develops the person. We believe both matter. 🏏🌏🇱🇰

Proud of the way our group embraced every challenge — different conditions, quality opposition, and the demands of touring. This experience was about more than results; it was about learning, adapting, and growing as cricketers and as people.

From intense training sessions to match situations under pressure, the players showed commitment, resilience, and a real hunger to improve. That’s what high performance is built on.

A big thank you to everyone who made this tour possible — coaches, support staff, and our Sri Lankan partners for their hospitality and competitive spirit.

Plenty of lessons taken, strong foundations built… and this is just the beginning.
