We're proud to have supported the Dementia Research Community team last weekend as they took on an incredible 45-hour non-stop ride as part of the July Move for Dementia campaign.
It was an extraordinary team effort, with more than 100 participants coming together to keep the challenge going around the clock. Three riders completed the full 45 hours on the spin bikes, covering a combined 2,070km, while three relay spin teams added an impressive 3,406km between them. Alongside the riders, a fourth relay team ran 475km over the course of the event.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved - the riders, relay teams, volunteers and partners - for such an incredible achievement in support of a truly worthy cause.
The event has already raised more than $49,000, and there's still time to support the campaign by donating via the Dementia Research Community website.
