The smiles, the laughter, the pink, and the community spirit just keep coming!

Today wasn’t just about soccer—it was about coming together to support an important cause, celebrate our amazing club community, and create memories that will last long after the final whistle.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in, purchased pink socks, supported our fundraising activities, visited our vendors, and helped make the day such a success. Every contribution, big or small, helped make a difference.

💗 What can we say about today? 💗

To everyone who attended Parkes Avenue Reserve today, you made this day truly amazing.

We would like to thank the Nepean Football Association Inc., along with the families and teams from Penrith RSL Soccer CLUB, Springwood United Football Club Inc. and St. Clair United Soccer Club, who were so accommodating with location changes to help make today possible.

A special shout out to our U14/4 team for the incredible balloon arch you created. It looked absolutely outstanding! The photos and team run-outs through the arch created some very special memories and were wonderful to watch.

To all of the parents who stepped in throughout the day to lend a hand wherever needed, thank you. Your support never goes unnoticed, and our club simply couldn’t do these events without you.

Thank you to all of our vendors who joined us today. It was fantastic to have you as part of the day and to see so many people supporting local businesses.

To everyone who purchased pink socks, thank you for getting behind the cause and helping us raise awareness and funds.

A huge thank you to Michael, one of our very own HLFC dads, who kept the atmosphere alive all day with the music, dance competitions, MC duties and plenty of fun. Your energy helped make the day what it was.

One of the most special parts of today was seeing families, friends, life members, NFA representatives, players and visitors all coming together. Watching people chat, support our vendors, dance, play, laugh and enjoy themselves reminded us just how special our HLFC family and community really is.

We are incredibly grateful to every person who played a part in making today such a success.

And we’re not finished yet!

If you don’t have plans tomorrow, come down and support our Seniors. The canteen and BBQ will be open, pink merchandise will still be available for donations, raffle tickets can be purchased, and there will be plenty of activities for the kids. Michael will also be back with the music and MC duties to keep the fun going.

🎟 Raffle tickets can be purchased online or tomorrow at the grounds. With over 30 prizes up for grabs, the raffle will be drawn once the last game kicks off at 1:00pm.

Over the coming days we’ll be sharing plenty more photos and videos from the weekend. There were so many special moments, and we can’t wait to share them all with you.

As we work through tallying the total number of goals scored by our junior teams playing at home, along with the number of teams that took the field, we’ll be able to share the total amount raised over the coming days.

Today was about so much more than football.

It was a day that is deeply personal for many within our community. Whether it’s your mum, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunty, niece, friend, teammate or even yourself, most of us know someone whose life has been impacted by breast cancer.

Thank you for standing alongside our club as we do our small part to raise awareness, show support, and help make a difference for those affected by this disease.

💙🖤🤍 Breast Cancer Awareness Round – Tomorrow at Parkes Avenue Reserve, Werrington 💗

Tomorrow we swap a little of our blue, black and white for pink as our Henry Lawson Football Club family comes together for our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Round.

We have a massive day planned and can’t wait to see our community unite in support of such an important cause.

🦺 Ground Officials
Our Ground Officials will be wearing pink or green vests and will be floating around the grounds throughout the day. If you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask.

⛑️ First Aid
First aid supplies and ice packs will be available from the club building. Let’s hope for an injury-free day for all players.

🚗 Parking
Parking areas and surrounding streets are expected to be very busy. Please do not block emergency access gates, clearways, or local residents’ driveways.

🎀 Donation Table
Visit our donation table where you’ll find a variety of breast cancer awareness merchandise, pink hair spray, pink ribbons, pink tape for players wanting to create their own armbands, and markers to write names of loved ones we’re playing for. All we ask for is a donation into our donation boxes.

🍔 Markets, Food Vans, Canteen & BBQ
There will be a variety of market stalls and food vans throughout the day.

Our canteen and BBQ will be operating as normal, serving:
• Sausage sandwiches
• Steak sandwiches
• Bacon & egg sandwiches
• Cold drinks
• Hot coffees
• Hot food and plenty of other tasty treats

We’ll also have:
🍩 Pink iced doughnuts
🧁 Cupcakes
🍭 Pink fairy floss bags

HLFC merchandise, fundraising items, and handmade body scrubs created by one of our amazing HLFC mums will also be available for purchase.

🧦 Pink Socks
We still have pink socks available for purchase at $15 per pair, with proceeds being donated to the McGrath Foundation. We’d love to see siblings get involved too and wear pink socks on the day.

🎟️ Raffle
Raffle tickets are just $2 each and can be purchased from the canteen. Half of all proceeds will be donated to the McGrath Foundation.

The raffle will be drawn on Sunday when the final game commences at 1:00pm.

🎨 Kids Activity Section
There will be plenty of activities available for players and siblings to enjoy throughout the day.

🍬 Lolly Guessing Competition
50 cents per guess. The person who guesses closest to the correct number will take home the prize.

⚽ On the Field
Our teams will be taking the field in pink socks, with selected teams also wearing special pink jerseys as we unite to raise awareness and show our support.

💙🖤🤍 Our club colours may be blue, black and white, but tomorrow we’re proud to add pink as we stand together in support of those affected by breast cancer.

Fill the sidelines with your HLFC gear, a splash of pink, and plenty of club spirit. Bring your family and friends along and help make it a day to remember while supporting our juniors and raising awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.

A day like this is only possible because of the incredible support from our sponsors, volunteers, coaches, managers, players, families and wider community. Thank you all for helping make tomorrow special.
