As many of you know my son Kalan has had a dream since he was about 8 years old to make cinematic movies that capture the attention of the world. He started at SAE last year studying film to get a good grounding on how to pull it all together and has been incredibly focused on learning and practising his craft whilst also supporting himself. He’s saved his own monies to put towards a short film that he wants to be able to enter into film festivals but needs a few more dollars to go towards equipment hire and actors. WAIKIKI | Day Ten

Last day and time to just relax. Pool cabana with fresh food and a couple of cocktails (just to relax 😜), ocean swim, last sunset, dinner by the Pacific Ocean, finished off with a “birthday” cake which was a fitting way to end our joint 50th Birthday adventure.

It has been the most amazing trip with , we fit a lot in to these 10 days and have so many amazing memories to cherish! Travel home tomorrow, looking forward to seeing our families and having a couple of days to let it all sink in before back to routines.

WAIKIKI | Day Nine

Day 1 of 2 relaxation before back to reality…amazing pastries for breakfast, swim at the beach (divine), relaxation massages, relax by resort pool, happy hour cocktails (loving the Pink Sunsets 😁) and dinner at Tommy Bahamas Restaurant. Not many photos today but great day with nonetheless. Last day tomorrow before making the trek home.

NEW YORK | Day Four

High Tea at Tiffany’s (amazing) / trying on Tiffany rings (well we were there so why not!!) / Fifth Ave wandering / Top of the Rock including mojito with a view of the Empire State Building and sunset over Manhattan / Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips (not quite fine dining but its still Gordon Ramsay 🤪). Fun Friday in the Big Apple.

NEW YORK | Day One

Arrived yesterday evening 28 hours door to door! No dramas with flights, and a room upgrade upon arrival at hotel with a view of the Hudson River!

First day we walked 16.4 km over 8 hours (big day!) from Hells Kitchen to Greenwich Village to Chelsea, Hudson Yards and back. Loved getting reacquainted with my favourite city! The High Line was a highlight - what a great transformation of old infrastructure. Finished the day off with cocktails on the roof top bar at the hotel! Awesome first day with
