A huge congratulations to India-Rose Macé on being named Senior Classical Ballet Scholarship Runner-Up. This is a wonderful achievement, and we are incredibly proud of you

Congratulations also to Luke Antcliffe on being awarded a New Zealand School of Dance Immersion, and Anna Stephensen on receiving a Queensland Ballet Training Opportunity.

Congratulations to all of our soloists on their wonderful results at the Sydney Eisteddfod

We are incredibly proud of each dancer and all that they achieved throughout the competition. Their performances were a wonderful reflection of the hard work and commitment they continue to bring to their training.

Dance North Academy is delighted to congratulate our 12/U Performance Lyrical Group ‘Nearer To Thee- Titanic’, on being invited to perform at the 2026 Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Gala Junior and Senior scholarship finals at the Sydney Opera House

This invitation is a wonderful recognition of the group’s performance and a very special opportunity to be part of one of Australia’s most celebrated dance events.

Congratulations to choreographer Mandi Whittaker, whose choreography continues to create outstanding opportunities for our students and a thank you to our assistant on this piece Heidi Monahan

We are incredibly proud of every dancer in our 12/U Performance Lyrical Group and look forward to watching them perform on the stage of the Sydney Opera House.

Introducing Tiny Twirlers 🩵 Tiny Twirlers Pre School Program

We’re so excited to share our beautiful new preschool dance program at Dance North Academy.

Created for children aged 18 months to 5 years, Tiny Twirlers has been thoughtfully designed to make a child’s first dance experience one they’ll love. Through the foundations of ballet and jazz, movement, music and imagination, our classes encourage confidence, coordination and a love of dance from the very beginning.

Our classes include:
🧑🏼‍🩰Twirl Together | 18 months - 3 years
🩰Tiny Twirlers | 3-5 years

We’re also so excited to welcome Miss Sophie to our Tiny Twirlers teaching team along with our wonderful Tiny Twirlers Team, Miss Hope, Miss Holly, Miss Heidi and Miss Alisha

If you’ve been thinking about introducing your little one to dance, we’d love to welcome you into our Tiny Twirlers family.

Dance North Academy is pleased to announce that, out of 8 chosen finalist, 4 of our dancers have progressed to the 2026 Sydney Eisteddfod Senior Classical Ballet Scholarship Finals, to be held at the Sydney Opera House.

Congratulations to Luke, India-Rose, Holly and Anna! This is a huge achievement for our dancers and we couldn’t be prouder of your commitment to your training, artistic quality and technical excellence.

This would not have been possible without our dedicated faculty Vicki Attard, Adam Blanch, Adam Bull, Lucinda Dunn, Catherine Edwards and Danilo Radojevic. We can’t wait to watch you perform in this prestigious event.
