We paid a visit to London’s most famous hatmaker to get fitted for a traditional silk top hat.

From 140-year-old vintage hats and the tallest top hat in the world, to the craftsmanship, history and etiquette behind these iconic pieces, Kristian at Oliver Brown gave us a fascinating insight into a tradition that has stood the test of time.

Safe to say I now know my hat size… and exactly when to take it off.
