Paddling friends -in the modern era (from 84) of surfski paddling. Here is a list of Athletes that have transitioned into Olympic Medallists in the sport of Kayaking. If I miss anyone can you please let me know and I will edit the post:

A great insight into a ski paddler at his third Olympics. Watching him come through the ranks I knew he was going to be and Olympic Champion 1 day.
Currently the out of the 6 Olympic male paddlers 5 of them came from ski paddling.

Ski number 1 off the DD3 production line. Seems like yesterday, but it was close to 18 years ago. It has been blood, swear and tears along the way.
We now have some of the worlds best paddlers choosing DD3.
Concentrating on our core paddling background of spec slsa ski racing we have turned our attention to our SKYFALL series. Allowing configurations for all spec ski paddlers.
SKYFALL SERIES MODELS: standard, deep seat, wide seat, long adjustable, short adjustble, low volume and our newest ski the SKYFALL DIAMOND - the first ski in the world designed for females.

Its been a while since posting. Here is one of the best displays of downwind paddling in 1-2 ft swells i have seen. Never over rating, looking for the trough (deep part) - surfing small lefts to link up for the bigger more steep rights. Watch this over and over again to learn from the master - Oscar Chalupsky.

I study many articles on training for kayak and Ski paddling. Never have I see this and I don't recommend unless you are on the eastern bloc training program through the 70s and 80s.
