⚽❤️ More Than Football, A Lesson That Lasts ❤️⚽
Sometimes the best measure of a coach isn't what happens on the pitch, it's what stays with a player long after they've left.
We recently received a message from a parent whose son, Eli, had to write a school speech on "the most powerful thing I've learned." He chose ACES, our Justfootball program standard, taught to him and his teammates by Coach Raaj during his time at Ryde Panthers.
Attitude. Concentration. Energy. Sportsmanship.
We lead ACES, but it is the players who define what it looks like and hold each other accountable to it, week in, week out. Eli wrote about how his team learnt to always be respectful, to listen and learn, to bring full energy to every session, and to be a good sport, win or lose, with teammates, referees and opponents alike.
The most powerful part? Eli left Ryde Panthers over a year ago, and these lessons still stay with him today, on and off the field.
