North Shore Basketball League - NSBL

Based in St Ives, North Shore Basketball League (NSBL) is a fun and flexible, learn to play, local basketball program for children in grades K-12.

Adults Mixed Comp is Wednesday evenings. NSBL offers a learn to play development program for kids aged 5 - 18 years old (grades K-12) and our membership continues to grow on a weekly basis! All sessions provided are fun, flexible and inclusive. Players enjoy the opportunity to learn and have fun with friends in a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, builds confidence and a general love

for the game. Experienced and passionate coaches cater to all ages and skill levels. Sessions focus on fundamental movement skills, basketball orientated skill acquisition and game sense.

~ NSBL Competition ~
On Sundays players are placed into a teams based on their age and ability. They remain in their teams until the end of term. Teams then play against each other in a fun & supportive environment where sportsmanship and skills are put into practice. Scores are kept and coaches guide the games to give direction and feedback to players where necessary. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the games if they wish, the more cheering the better!

~ After School Sessions ~
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, skill and development sessions are offered to players. Sessions involve a mix of drills and scrimmages to help improve an individual player's ability to play basketball. Please visit our club website www.nsbl.com.au for more information.

Introducing North Shore Basketball League (NSBL)!

Yoel, the club manager (and founder), established NSBL in 2013 with the goal of bringing grassroots / learn-to-play basketball to the local Ku-ring-gai region. He is thrilled with the opening of the new centre and the opportunity it brings to continue to grow basketball in the area.

NSBL offers skill sessions after school on Mondays – Thursdays, a Sunday development competition, an Adults Social Mixed competition and school holiday camps. All sessions are located at our St Ives Sports Centre!
