๐Ÿšจ The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Rural and Remote Practitioner Network (ARRPN) Committee is conducting a Skills and Postgraduate Survey to explore what additional skills and postgraduate education could better support chiropractors practising in rural and remote communities.

The Committee wants to understand whether there is interest in a more specialised or extended postgraduate training pathways, potentially drawing on the principles of rural generalism, where practitioners develop a broader range of skills to respond to the needs of the communities they serve.

As an important first step, they want to hear directly from rural and remote practitioners about:
๐Ÿค” Where would additional skills or training make the greatest difference to your practice?
๐Ÿค” What knowledge, capabilities, or areas of extended practice would be most valuable, and what could the building blocks of a rural-focused postgraduate pathway look like?

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Today is R U OK? Day, a time to reflect on the power and importance of meaningful conversations and stronger social connections. This yearโ€™s theme, โ€˜Ask R U Ok? Any Day,โ€™ encourages Australians to treat checking in on their loved ones as an ongoing habit, rather than someone done once a year.

๐Ÿค Because year-round conversations and strong social connections play an important role in helping people through difficult periods, regular check-ins are so valuable. They donโ€™t require you to know exactly what to say or have potential solutions at hand immediately. They simply require you to listen, allow someone to talk, and consider what support might be helpful to them.
