You wouldn’t stand over an important shot without picking a target, taking a practice swing and getting yourself ready.

Yet you expect your body to go from sitting in the car to producing speed for 18 holes with almost zero preparation.

Your pre-round routine doesn’t need to take an hour.

Move. Fuel. Meditate. Then play.

Prepare your body with the same intent you prepare each shot.

Follow to Play longer. Move better. Perform younger.

Trying to hit it further by simply swinging harder usually means more tension, more effort and less control.

That old saying…

I just need to slow it down a bit

IS THE WRONG ADVISE!

Instead of trying to squeeze 100% out of the speed you have, raise your speed ceiling.

Build the mobility to move well, strength to produce force and power to produce it FAST.

The higher your ceiling becomes, the less your normal swing needs to feel like maximum effort.

Build a bigger engine. Then learn how to use it.

Follow for more ways to strengthen your swing in the gym.

I turn 44 next month.

And apparently… “it’s all downhill from 40.”

Funny, because physically, I feel like there’s still plenty of road ahead.

I spent 14 years in the Army maintaining Black Hawk helicopters, while also becoming a Combat Fitness Leader and spending a fair chunk of my life training hard and playing sports

Then came CrossFit.

I owned and coached in CrossFit gyms for over a decade. Thousands of hours on the gym floor. Heavy lifting. Hard workouts. Competing with myself and seeing what my body could do.

Then life changed.

I became a husband. A dad to two boys. Work got busier. Sleep became more valuable. Recovery wasn’t something I could just ignore anymore.

And somewhere along the way, training stopped being about how much punishment I could handle.

It became about what I still want my body to be capable of in 10, 20, 30 years (so I can kick my kids arse)

These days I spend more time on mobility. I train strength with purpose. I train speed and power. I pay attention to nutrition and recovery. I sign up for events I enjoy

And next month I’ll be 44…

hitting the golf ball further than I ever have in my life.

I’m not 24 anymore.

I don’t recover like I’m 24.

And I don’t need to train like I’m 24.

Getting older isn’t the problem…

Putting votes in the ballot box of “my best years are gone” is!

You hit the back nine and suddenly your energy drops, your focus disappears and your swing starts to fall apart.

It’s not always your golf—it could be how you’re fuelling your body.

With the right supplements to support performance, you can maintain energy, concentration and performance across all 18 holes.

Most golfers think lower scores come from a better short game.

They’re only partly right.

If you hit the ball further, you’d have shorter approach shots, hit more greens in regulation, and rely far less on scrambling to save par.

That’s why I assess every golfer’s mobility, balance, strength, power and club head speed before writing a program.

Build the body first.
The golf gets easier.

DM “ASSESS” and I’ll send you the first four tests every golfer should pass before worrying about their swing.
