Term three has come to an end , and with it we say Farewell and Bon Voyage to a very special person.
Our beloved team leader Trish is moving back to her home country New Zealand.
We are so lucky to have had Trish’s positivity and friendship here at
Active Opportunities Inc, she has been a beacon of light and will be greatly missed.

Haere rā, Trish. Ngā mihi nui mō āu mahi katoa. Kia pai tō hokinga ki Aotearoa, ā, kia waimarie!

Reminder 📌 beginners (SPACE)🔥

One of the first things I want young players to understand is that space is not just somewhere you run into.

It’s something you can create, use, and take away.

When we have the ball, we want to make the pitch big — spread out, create passing options, and look for the spaces the opponent leaves.

When we lose it, the idea changes. Get closer, stay compact, and make the pitch difficult for the opponent to play through.
And sometimes, your movement away from the ball is what creates the best opportunity for a teammate.

Simple football concept 👇🏻
With the ball → create space.
Without the ball → deny space.

The more players start to see space, not just the ball, the better they begin to understand the game.
Save this as a simple reminder 🙏🏻
Share it with a player or coach who is learning the game.
