Bentstix Hockey Club is Sydney’s only gay and le***an hockey club which openly promotes participation from the LGBTQI and wider community. We welcome new players of all skill levels (including beginners) for both our men’s and women’s teams throughout the year. Bentstix men's team play in the Sydney Hockey Association (SHA) winter competition and Bentstix women's teams play in the Eastern District

s Women's Hockey Association (EDWHA) winter competition. Over the break from the winter hockey Bentstix also put men's, women's and mixed teams together to play indoor competitions and summer hockey. Bentstix is also extremely proud to represent Australia at international competitions throughout Asia and the rest of the world. Bentstix Men’s team has won Gold Medals in Utrecht (Eurogames 2005), Copenhagen (World Outgames 2009), Cologne (Gay Games 2010) and Wellington (Asia Pacific Outgames 2011), as well as Silver and Bronze in Sydney (Gay Games 2002) and a further Bronze in Utrecht (2005). Bentstix Women have won Gold in Wellington (Asia Pacific Outgames in 2011) and Bronze in Utrecht (2005).

With the Men's 1 winning their semi finals match against Northern Districts, they're through to the Prelim finals this Saturday!

The Women's team will be back with a vengeance this Sunday after a 4-3 loss this past weekend. They'll be playing their final match of the season against UNSW, so grab your coffee for this morning showdown.

Congratulations to our Mens 2 (SL4) team for a fantastic season! With 7 wins across the season, even the games that were lost were often very close games with only a one or two goal difference.

Many of the team played in their first ever semi-finals this past weekend and what an exciting game from start to finish! All players brought their A-game, but in the end Ryde-HH took the win 2 to 1

Congratulations to the Mens 3 team for a spectacular season. They wrapped up their season with 3 wins, 2 draws and 16 goals across the season!

A brutal weekend on the scoreboard with 1 win and 5 tough losses—but if you saw the work our goalkeepers put in across every single match, you’d know numbers don't tell the whole story.

Huge shoutout to our keepers for diving, blocking, and holding the line through every minute of it, and congrats to the Mens 1 for securing the win! 🏆

We reset, train hard, and go again.
