End of a Era 💃
After 21yrs of teaching, I have decided to hang up my shimmy belt. It has been my creative outlet, social & community network, exercise & happy place.
I went from an awkward student to a confident teacher creating my own fusion style "Belly Rock" But I think my greatest achievement is bringing women together & creating a belly dance family (husbands included).
Over the years we have had heaps of belly laughs, Epic performances, costume/music malfunctions and crazy beautiful moments.
"Ali's Angels" you ladies Rock. Thanks for your patience, commitment to driveway rehearsals & backstage mayhem.
To all the students I have taught over the years Thank you. I will hold all these memories in my heart forever.
