💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

With so many women now playing walking football across NSW, our community has a wonderful opportunity to help spread an important message.

Did you know breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer globally? This October, let’s stand together, raise awareness and encourage the women in our lives to stay informed and keep up with regular screening.

A simple share can help extend the message even further. 💗⚽

Welcome to Woopi! ⚽💙

Walking Football has arrived in Woolgoolga!

On Tuesday 18 August, we held our first WalkSoccer Come & Try session at Wiigulga Sports Complex, giving locals the chance to discover just how much fun football can be at a walking pace.

It was great to see players getting involved, having a kick, meeting new people and enjoying the social side of the game.

Woolgoolga ,affectionately known by locals as “Woopi”, is a beautiful coastal town on the Mid North Coast, around 25 km north of Coffs Harbour. The name Woolgoolga comes from the Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal word for the black apple tree, while “Woopi” is the friendly local nickname.

Now Woopi has WalkSoccer too!

A big thank you to everyone who came along to the first session and helped get this new Walking Football community underway.

Lee couldn’t quite help his beloved Arsenal take out the A Current Affair Cup, even with those all-important bonus points from the Best Club Song Sing-Off! 😂🔴⚪️

At least the result was a little easier to swallow with the Red Manchester taking home the Cup!
