When you're busy, health can become something you plan to get around to later🗓️

For those working FIFO and remote rosters, finding time for appointments, health checks and self-care can sometimes feel easier said than done. Yet stress, fatigue and recovery all play an important role in overall wellbeing.

That's why, during Women's Health Week, we're taking the opportunity to focus on something important: women's health needs change throughout different stages of life. From nutrition and hormone health to screening and preventive care, what your body needs at 25 may be very different to what it needs at 55.

Through our well. program, we encourage a proactive approach to health by providing information and resources that support physical wellbeing, nutrition, mental health and healthy lifestyle habits. Women's Health Week is a timely reminder that looking after your health isn't just about responding when something feels wrong. It's about building awareness, creating healthy routines and taking small steps that support your wellbeing over the long term.

This Women's Health Week, we're encouraging our people to make their health a priority, whether that's booking a screening, checking in with a healthcare professional, focusing on nutrition or simply paying more attention to what your body is telling you.

💙 A small reminder of the people who matter most.

FIFO means missing moments at home, including special occasions like Father's Day.

Across our villages, teams created opportunities for residents to pause, connect and reach out to the father figures in their lives. Whether it was a quick phone call, a message home, sharing a classic dad joke, or taking a moment to reflect on the people who have shaped us, the day served as a reminder that connection doesn't depend on distance.

Thank you to our teams for the thoughtful touches that helped make Father's Day feel a little closer to home, and for keeping the dad-joke tradition alive while they were at it 💙

When Caitlin heard about our Chef Apprenticeship Program through a toolbox talk, she knew straight away it was an opportunity she wanted to pursue.

For the Kambalda local, cooking has long been a passion, particularly baking, cakes and anything chocolate. After considering a culinary career for the past two years, the apprenticeship offered the perfect opportunity to turn a hobby into a profession. 👩🏼‍🍳

Through a unique partnership between Civeo and Gold Fields the Chef Apprenticeship Program is built on our shared commitment in creating employment pathways for the locals in the communities we operate. A recipe for career growth, emerging talents develop their skills through a combination of formal training, hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced culinary professionals.

Already a valued member of the Civeo team, Caitlin is passionate about giving back to the community she calls home and is looking forward to learning from her peers, developing new skills and discovering what's possible throughout her career journey.

We're excited to support Caitlin as she takes this next step and can't wait to follow her progress!

A huge congratulations to our Prominent Hill team, named 2026 South Australian Industrial Caterer at the Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence.

This award is a fantastic recognition of the hard work, passion and team spirit that goes into creating a great experience for our guests every day. From early starts to busy service periods, it's the people behind the scenes who make achievements like this possible.

The achievement adds to an exciting awards season for Civeo, with St Ives Village in WA and Moranbah Village in QLD also taking home state honours. 🏆

We're incredibly proud of all three teams and can't wait to cheer them on as they represent their states at the National Awards for Excellence later this year.

What does a career in resources, hospitality or village operations actually look like❓

These were some of the conversations we had while taking part in Middlemount Community School’s My Brilliant Future Day last week.

The event brought together students, parents and local businesses to explore career pathways, share experiences and provide real-world insights into life after school.

Our team enjoyed connecting with students, answering questions about opportunities in our industry and providing a BBQ lunch for attendees. Most importantly, it was a chance to encourage young people as they begin thinking about what their future could look like.

It's always rewarding to support initiatives that help young people explore what's possible and connect classrooms with real-world opportunities🌟
