🐣 Easter Holiday Schedule 🐣

Just a quick update for our community — we’ll be closed over the Easter weekend to give everyone time to rest and enjoy with family.

🚫 Closed:
• Friday 3rd of April ( Good Friday)
• Saturday 4th of April (Easter Saturday)
• Monday 6th of April (Easter Monday)

We’ll be back to normal classes after the public holidays!

It’s happening at the gym! After each kids’ class on the same day, we’ll have food, treats, fun activities, and surprise promotions!

Gym Etiquette for Beginners & Kids in Jiu-Jitsu 🥋✨
Building respect, safety and a strong community starts with good habits — especially for our younger students. Here are some simple guidelines to follow:

Clean Uniform & Hygiene
• Wear a fresh gi or clean no-gi gear.
• Keep nails trimmed and personal hygiene sharp to reduce skin infections like ringworm or staph.
• Shower after class and wash your gear properly.
• Don’t share towels or uniforms, and always cover open wounds.

Respectful Conduct
• Bow or give a respectful nod when stepping on or off the mats, and greet your professor before class.
• Use proper titles like “Coach” or “Professor” when addressing instructors.
• Line up politely before and after class, often by belt rank.

Shoes & Mat Cleanliness
• No shoes on the mats, ever.
• Don’t walk barefoot off the mats — use slides or thongs instead.

Focus & Timing
• Arrive on time and pay attention during instruction.
• Avoid disrupting the class and always follow your school’s specific rules (whether traditional or casual).
• Keep your belongings — shoes, water bottles, bags — tidy and out of the way so no one trips over them. Please don’t leave items in staff areas like desks or chairs.

Community Spirit
• Show respect for the gym and your teammates by helping clean the mats after training.
Together, these small actions create a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for everyone on the mats.
