Óscar Haro believes Marc Márquez’s ability to handle championship pressure could give him a crucial advantage over Aprilia in the 2026 title fight. Speaking on Nico Abad’s YouTube channel, as reported by Motosan, Haro explained why leading the championship can be a different challenge altogether.

Marc Márquez has opened up about how his serious injuries changed his perspective on racing, admitting that the 2020 crash taught him a lesson he had never truly understood before. In an interview with MotoGP.com, reported by Motosan, the nine-time world champion reflected on the risks, sacrifices, and emotions behind his career.

🗣️ “Before 2020, I felt like a superhero. But then 2020 came along and taught me, and I learned, that we are human.”

After multiple surgeries and years of struggling to return to the top, Márquez says he now understands the risks of pushing beyond his limits.

🗣️ “Now I’m starting to value risk more, and that risk is dangerous and translates into crashes.”

Despite everything he has endured, the Ducati rider insists his competitive spirit remains strong. However, he admits that retirement is something he thinks about more than before.

🗣️ “I’m here and competing because, for now, I haven’t given up mentally. I’ve already achieved a lot, but I still feel competitive.”

🗣️ “Is it closer than yesterday? Yes. But when? I don’t know.”

Dani Pedrosa will return to a MotoGP bike at the United States Formula 1 Grand Prix, as MotoGP prepares a special demonstration at Circuit of the Americas on October 24. According to Motosan, four riders will showcase the speed and spectacle of MotoGP during the F1 weekend.

🗣️ “It’s always special to ride a MotoGP bike at COTA, one of the most spectacular circuits in the world.”

The Red Bull KTM test rider will be joined by reigning 2026 WorldSBK champion Nicolò Bulega, Yamaha test rider Andrea Dovizioso, and Aprilia test rider Lorenzo Savadori.

Pedrosa sees the exhibition as a chance to introduce MotoGP to a wider audience attending the F1 event.

🗣️ “The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix attracts an incredible crowd, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase what makes MotoGP unique.”
