The GPS never says, “You’ve made a mistake.”
It simply pauses, adjusts, and says, “Recalculating route.”
Sometimes, we may miss turns, take wrong exits, get lost, or end up somewhere we never intended to be. And still, the journey continues.
Life should be lived that way too.
Not every decision you make will lead you exactly where you thought it would. There will be seasons where you’ll feel behind, confused, heartbroken, or disappointed in yourself for not getting it right the first time. You will outgrow people, walk away from the things that you once begged for, and realize that some paths were only meant to teach you, not to keep you. But none of that means your life is ruined. It simply means you are being redirected.
So when things do not go as planned, don’t be hard on yourself.
Be gentle enough to say, “I’m still finding my way.” Because life is not asking you to be perfect. It is only asking you to keep moving forward, even after the reroutes, even after the delays, even after the moments that you thought you had completely lost your direction.
Trust that there is still a way forward for you.
And just like the GPS, life can always recalculate the route.
