We are calling on all female surfers to provide their input into shaping the future of surfing. Take part in our quick surveys about your surfing and WIN some epic prizes.

Grant opportunity for flood affected Surf Schools

Our thoughts are with all those affected by the devastating floods wreaking havoc on communities in SE Queensland and NSW. We hope that your club or school has not sustained too much damage.

Sportscover Australia will make available up to 50 unconditional grants of $500 to assist eligible sports associations, sports clubs, gymnasiums and recreational facilities replace sports equipment lost as a result of the February-March 2022 floods.

It's stacked with plenty of activations and extras to help your surf school move into a successful 2022.

Don't leave it to the last minute to affiliate for 2022.

Surfing NSW are extremely happy to announce that in partnership with the NSW State Government (DPI) & TacMed Australia we are able provide FREE surf specific customised aquatic trauma & bleed kits to all Boardrider clubs & Surf schools in NSW.

These custom trauma kits has been custom designed by TacMed Paramedics and Military Medics

The kits are small, lightweight, clearly labelled and designed to use in the critical first few minutes after a major incident including: • Shark Attack • Watercraft Trauma • Propeller & Surfboard Fin Strike • Drowning / near drowning. In addition to the Immediate Trauma / Bleeding Control equipment there are also multiple hypothermia blankets and equipment for fracture management, basic first aid (minor wounds)

A CASTING CALL for TANDEM SURFERS!

Byrne Creative is looking to cast experienced tandem surfers and synchronised swimmers to feature in an alcohol advertisement.

Surfers with the strength to lift another person onto their shoulders while riding a wave.

ALL TALENT MUST BE 25+

SHOOT DATE: 30th of November + 1st of December 2021 (1 x 10 hr shoot day)

TALENT FEES:
Selected Adult talent will receive $500 AUD - $2,000 AUD depending on level of feature

Cooper Chapman has partnered with Surfing Mental Health 360 to deliver 8 workshops to our junior surfing community.

While on the QS tour, Cooper will be stopping at our affiliated surf school and Boardrider Clubs to talk to the Groms and Juniors about the importance of good mental health. In additional we are looking for Good Human Junior ambassadors to spread mental health awareness throughout their community.
