JKA Karate Campsie is affiliated with the Japan Karate Association which is the oldest and largest karate association in the world! The Japan Karate Association is widely considered as the world’s leading body on Shotokan Karate. Through our affiliation with the Japan Karate Association, we are able to offer you internationally recognised grades. JKA Karate Campsie and Sensei Joel are members of the NSW Karate Federation and the Australian Karate Federation. In fact, we are the only school in our area who are members of the NSW Karate Federation and the Australian Karate Federation. This means that JKA Karate Campsie students have the ability to make the NSW Karate Team and the Australian Karate Team. An integral essence of JKA Campsie is to instil lifelong perseverance and determination in individuals and foster humility and gratitude in all interactions. These qualities, along with other imperative life skills, are what allow individuals to succeed, not only in karate, but in life. Instilling positive and inclusive attitudes within its students, all successes are celebrated and each student’s efforts are acknowledged; fostering lifelong friendships and a close bond amongst members.
