🏆 TRADIES CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026 🏆

We’re pleased to announce the 2026 Tradies Club Championship season!

All Members are invited to take part and compete for the club championship titles. This will consist of the following events:

• Handicap Singles Championship – (commencing Monday, 1st Oct 2026)

• Handicap Doubles Championship – (commences Monday, 1st Oct 2026)

• Open Championship – (commences Monday, 14th Oct 2026)

The wait is over — our table refurbishment is officially COMPLETE! 🙌

The tables have had a well-deserved makeover and are playing (and looking) better than ever.

A huge thank you to Danny Townsend for getting the tables back in top shape, to Peter Quinlivan for arranging the works, and to our members for their patience while the work was carried out.

Now that the tables are back in business, it’s time to get the cues out. See you at the Club!

🚨 TABLE UPDATE 🚨

The Club is pleased to confirm that our tables are due for refurbishment on Wednesday 19/08 - Friday 21/08. During this time, the tables will not be available for play.

Thanks for everyone’s patience while we get the work done. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the newly refurbished tables.

SSSA COMP - ROUND 21

As the comp progresses further towards the end of the season, our Tradies teams are continuing to battle it out for a Top 8 spot that will see them progress into the finals.

Tradies 1 v Panania Diggers 1
After a four-game losing streak, Tradies 1 are on the bounce! Having defeated Ramsgate RSL 6-2 last week, this week they continued the trend by defeating Panania 6-2.

Tradies 2 v Miranda RSL 1
Tradies 2 came into this match undefeated in their last 5 games but it was anyone's game after three frames came down to a final black. The team succumbed to a narrow 5-3 defeat.

With only 3 fixtures left of the regular season, Tradies 1 sit comfortably in 4th while Tradies 2 are placed 9th. Let's dig deep, finish off the season strong, and book our place in the Top 8!

Play well and safe travels to our member David Wright as he heads to China to represent Australia in the IBSF World Team Snooker Championship! David and his teammate Hassan will face up against some of best teams from around the world such as China, Pakistan and France.

The Club is proud to have such strong competitors like David and we cannot wait to see him in action on the world stage.

SSSA COMP - ROUND 13

It was a fantastic start to the second-half of the season as both Tradies teams had victories.

Tradies 1 v Ramsgate RSL 1
There was not much to separate the two sides but a great break of 45 from Dave H and a great final black from Rob C proved the difference has they came away 5-3 winners.

Tradies 2 v Kingsgrove 2
It was no mercy from Tradies 2 as they defeated Kingsgrove 1 by a landslide 7-1.

These wins put Tradies 1 back at top-spot on the ladder and surges Tradies 2 to the top half of the table. Let's keep it up boys!

FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL🎱

Congratulations to Mick on taking out the final against Matthew and finishing the night on top.

SSSA COMP - ROUND 12

We have reached the halfway mark of the season and there have been plenty of victories, thrillers and big breaks!

Tradies 1 v Kingsgrove 1 (H)
Tradies 1 went down 5-3 to Kingsgrove 1. Despite the loss, Alex R and Marko had fantastic breaks of 57 and 39, respectively.

Alex's 57-break means he claims the biggest break of the season thus far, narrowly edging out David H's 53-break made last round!

Tradies 2 v Condell Park 2 (A)
It was smiles all around for Tradies 2 with a 5-3 win over Condell Park 2. Congratulations to Lucas D for winning both his frames which saw the team clinch the victory.

This round sees Tradies 1 move down to 2nd place behind Bexley RSL 2. whilst Tradies 2 move up to 12th and will be looking for a strong surge in the remaining half of the season to make the top 8.

SSSA COMP - ROUND 10

It was commiserations for Tradies 1 & 2 as both teams were defeated 6-2 against Condell Park 1 and Bexley RSL 2, respectively.

Congratulations to Dave H for a fantastic 53-break; the highest break from any Tradies player this season!

Despite the disappointing results, Tradies 1 remain at the top of the table and Tradies 2 at 17th place.
