Well done to our Extension Contemporary Team on their strong characterisation and commitment in the final competition of the year. We’ve loved bringing a second genre into our performance program and we are so proud of the team spirit which has emerged in this cohort. The main goal of the MSDS performance program is developing dancers who are diligent, committed, respectful, and supportive team players. As this team warmed up in the dressing room last night, all of these qualities were evident to me. Both Abbie Rose Levy and Paige Devlin | 25 | Sydney voluntarily gave up their Saturday evening to come and support our team at this competition. They genuinely care about these dancers and, in a world where connection is increasingly becoming transactional, the rarity of this is not lost on me. I love our MSDS community, we’re all so fortunate to be in each other’s orbit. 💫💗💫
