This week in our Dance For Fun classes, we’ve been exploring wand dancing — twirling, swirling, and sparking imaginations with every wave. 🌈

It’s not just about the movement (though we love those spins!) — wand dancing helps little ones build coordination, express creativity, and share in the joy of moving together.

Positive affirmations are an important part of every Bright Stars class. 🌈

We end each session with calming stretches, deep breaths, and empowering words — helping our little dancers leave feeling confident, calm, and proud of themselves.

🚦 Stop, Slow, Go… it’s Road Safety in our Dance For Fun classes!

This month we introduced a new themed activity – Road Safety! 🌟 Our little dancers had so much fun learning about traffic lights while grooving a Wiggles classic “Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car” 🚗🎶

🟢 Green light = dance like crazy!
🟠 Orange light = slow dance
🔴 Red light = FREEZE!

With colourful pom poms in hand, the children explored movement, coordination and important road safety concepts – all while having fun! 💛

✨ This Week, we’re celebrating the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with NAIDOC week.

In our Dance for Fun classes, children will explore the beautiful Torres Strait Islander son “Inanay”, using clapping sticks to connect movement, rhythm and storytelling. 🌿

By introducing little ones to music and traditions like these, we help spark curiosity, respect and an appreciation for the world’s oldest living cultures.
