What a weekend for the Kincumber Pacific Dolphins at Youth State! 🐬🏅

We’re celebrating two State Champions: Darcie Hall won the 12 years 50m Butterfly, and Chloe Haynes won the 9 years 100m Freestyle! 🥇🥇

Darcie added three more medals: silver in the 50m and 100m Freestyle, and bronze in the 100m Butterfly. 🥈🥈🥉

Congratulations to our other top-10 finishers:

• Chloe Haynes — 4th in 100m Backstroke, 5th in 50m Backstroke and 7th in 50m Freestyle
• Piper Sharman — 4th in both 100m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly
• Thomas Oi — 7th in 100m Breaststroke and 10th in 200m Breaststroke

There was fantastic swimming from all our Dolphins. A special mention to Seraphim Rezk, who took on the gruelling 200m Butterfly at his first State meet. He followed the coach’s race plan to the letter and made us all so proud!

Hamish Murray did a wonderful job at his first-ever State event.

🏊‍♀️🐬 KPD AT NSW SENIOR STATE AGE SC CHAMPIONSHIPS 🐬🏊‍♂️

A fantastic three days of racing for our Kincumber Pacific Dolphins at the NSW Senior State Age Short Course Championships, with plenty to celebrate across the team!

🏅 MEDAL TALLY – 6 MEDALS
🥇 3 Gold | 🥈 2 Silver | 🥉 1 Bronze
⭐ 25 TOP 10 FINISHES

A huge meet from Summer Klein, who came away with an incredible five medals —
Gold in the 100 Fly MC and 50 Breast MC,
Silver in the 100 Breast MC and 50 Back MC, and
Bronze in the 50 Fly MC.

Alex Foreman also stood on top of the podium with a brilliant Gold in the 200 Back, swimming 1:56.87.
Alex added another Top 10 with 8th in the 50 Back.

There were plenty more Top 10 performances across the weekend.
Sophie Collison finished 4th in the 50 Breast, 5th in the 100 Breast and 6th in the 200 Breast.
Patrick Dwyer had a very consistent meet with Top 10s in all of his MC events — 4th in the 100 Breast, 4th in the 50 Breast, 6th in the 200 IM, 8th in the 50 Fly, 8th in the 50 Back and 9th in the 50 Free.

Ellis Hazelton finished 5th in the 100 Fly MC, 6th in the 50 Fly MC and 8th in the 100 Back MC.

Elizabeth Bennett picked up two Top 10s with 10th in both the 50 Fly MC and 100 Free MC

Lachlan Bunney finished 10th in the 200 Fly.

🔥 Our biggest PBs included:
Elizabeth Bennet - 2.65 sec PB 50 Freestyle

Ellis Hazelton – 2.98 sec PB, 100 Back

Patrick Dwyer – 1.38 sec PB, 200 IM MC

👏 A special mention to Lucas Agafonoff, who stepped up for a great 100m Breaststroke, racing in a strong 14–15 year field. Plenty more to come from Lucas!

Also representing KPD across the weekend were Mitchell Benson, who finished with a PB in the 50 Back, and Beau Melohn, who also produced a PB in the 50 Free.

From our medal winners and Top 10 finishers to those gaining valuable racing experience at this level, every swimmer who represented KPD contributed to a great weekend for our club.

6 medals • 25 Top 10 finishes • plenty of PBs • one very proud Dolphins team! 🐬💙

So Incredibly proud of our awesome team, swimmers, parents and coaches all supporting each other for an incredible weekend of racing. Well done every swimmer. 💙💛 10 & Under Fun Night – What a Fantastic Evening! 💛💙
What an incredible night we had at our 10 & Under Fun Night! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, swimmers cheering each other on, and families enjoying being part of our amazing club community.
A huge thank you to our Club Captains, who did an outstanding job running games, encouraging our youngest swimmers and making everyone feel welcome. You are fantastic role models, and the way you gave your time and energy showed exactly what KPD is all about.
The team spirit on display was something special. There were plenty of laughs, new friendships made, lots of encouragement and great sportsmanship throughout the evening. Nights like these remind us that swimming is about so much more than racing—it’s about belonging, building confidence, supporting one another and having fun together.
Thank you to all of our volunteers, coaches and parents who helped make the evening such a success. We are incredibly proud of the positive culture we’ve built together.
Here’s to many more fun nights and creating lifelong memories at KPD! 🐬💙
