Why Alignment and Mobility Matter

Proper alignment and mobility are critical for an athlete's physical longevity and peak output:

Force Transfer: Optimal alignment ensures muscles work at a mechanical advantage. If joints are mobile enough to move fluidly, force travels through the body efficiently—maximizing jump height, swing speed, or running stride.

Injury Prevention: When joints like the hips or thoracic spine lack mobility, the body often compensates by putting excessive stress on vulnerable areas like the lower back, knees, or rotator cuffs.

Muscle Activation: Aligned joints allow muscles to engage across their entire range of motion, preventing fatigue and muscle imbalances.
