🏐 Mixed Netball 2025 – Season Wrap Up! 🏐

What a way to finish an amazing season of Mixed Netball!

🎉 Congratulations to Team 1 – the SRAS Staff Team – who went through the entire 2025 competition undefeated and took out the premiership in style!

The best game was saved until last, with Team 2 pushing hard and keeping things tense right into the final quarter. But the SRAS Staff Team held strong and showed why they’ve been the team to beat all year, coming away with a classy 41–27 victory.

🏆 Best on Ground went to Maigan, who was outstanding across all four quarters!

A huge thank you to everyone who has played, umpired, cooked the BBQ, cheered from the sidelines, and helped make this competition a success. Special thanks to our Net Set Go participants and those running the sessions for giving our youngest players a chance to shine each week.

We’re already excited for 2026 and looking to make it even bigger – so get your teams ready and help us grow this great community comp!

🏐 GRAND FINAL NIGHT – TOMORROW! 🏐

The wait is over – tomorrow night we crown our 2025 Mixed Netball Champions! 🎉

Following last fortnight’s epic finals, congratulations to Team 1 and Team 2 who have earned their spot in the big dance. It all comes down to tomorrow night – one last game to decide it all!

📅 When: Tuesday, 23rd September
🕔 5:15pm – Net Set Go (our little legends on court!)
🏆 6:00pm – GRAND FINAL: Team 1 🆚 Team 2

💥 After the Grand Final, Teams 3 & 4 are encouraged to hit the court for one last friendly match if they’re keen – let’s finish the season off with everyone involved!

Only the winners progress through to the Grand Final on Tuesday, 23rd September – so expect two huge games.

🏐 Mixed Netball – Minor Round Wrap Up 🏐

Last Tuesday night marked the conclusion of our minor round fixtures, and what a way to set the stage for finals!

In the first game, Team 1 once again showed their dominance, cruising to a convincing win over a depleted Team 4. This result cements an undefeated season for Team 1, finishing well clear on top of the table.

Our second match of the night was one of the most entertaining of the season, with some fresh faces from Costa Brothers joining Team 3 to deliver a stirring victory over Team 2. Despite the percentage boost, Team 3 couldn’t quite climb off the bottom of the ladder, leaving them in 4th spot at the end of the minor season.

That means next week’s Finals kick off Tuesday, 9th September:
⚡ 6:00pm – Team 1 vs Team 3
⚡ 7:00pm – Team 2 vs Team 4

Only the winners advance to the Grand Final on Tuesday, 23rd September – so expect two big games of high-intensity netball!

A huge thank you to everyone who has played, supported, and helped behind the scenes throughout the season so far. We can’t wait to see a big crowd courtside next Tuesday for our first finals night! 🎉

🏐 Mixed Netball – Round 2 Action! 🏐

It was awesome to see so many people out for the start of Round 2 – and we were treated to a couple of cracking, entertaining games!

In Game 1, Team 4 took the win, holding off countless defensive efforts from Claire who gave it her all.
Game 2 saw an intense showdown between the undefeated Team 1 and a fired-up Team 2. Team 2 pushed hard and kept it close, but Team 1 held strong to win 28–21.

Thanks to everyone who played, cheered, umpired and helped out behind the scenes.

After a few weeks off, we’re ready to hit the courts again!
Round 2 of Mixed Netball and Net Set Go kicks off tomorrow night – Tuesday, July 29!

Last night marked the end of Round 1 and an epic Term 2 of Mixed Netball and Net Set Go! A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of the action so far – players, umpires, BBQ crew, and volunteers.
