💫 2024 polocrosse season 💫
The end of another polocrosse season, and what an eventful and rewarding one it was. We had a truck load of amazing mares play this season, proving the quality and strength of horses we have ridden throughout the year. We played all over the East coast, from 1000 kms away to 20 kms away, sharing our weekends with our friends and family.
Berragoon Bon Bon – Berragoon Favour x Bonlac Gi**lo
A family favourite and played by the whole family. She had a busy season and was lucky enough to travel to QLD twice this season.
Tiny Dancer – Holmrose Allanah x Palmers Fort Abdul
Our old lady on the truck. She knows the game like the back of her hand and never misses a beat. She had a great season playing across the grades in all positions.
Turnbulls Elsa – Turnbulls Elka x Talisman Fiddler
An exceptional season for this mare, playing in the NSW U26 side at Barastoc, winning the series and played in the NT Open Mixed side at Chinchilla Nationals, as a 1 and a 3.
Rosebrook Lo**ta – Rosebrook Wing Wong x Booerie Creek Flying Star
A tough, strong and consistent mare that was played in all positions this year. She is the perfect horse for everyone to play, having 5 different jockeys this season.
Riverglen Paradise – Kirkbys Stud Teal x Acres Destiny
Because if you couldn’t tell, we love black horses, here is another to add to the collection. This was only her second season, although you wouldn’t have been able to tell – she stepped up and played some good, tough polocrosse throughout the year.
Malinga Diva – Moorooluck Divine x Cawdells Sampson
A full season for this mare, she has gone from strength to strength. Played by the whole family, and across the grades – she has really proved her potential this season.
Malinga Miss Jazz – ASAR Miss Bemboka x Gamberlee Jaguar
Having her first carnival at the end of the season, she did not disappoint. She is tough, bold and very soft to play – you would think she’s played many seasons of polox in her past life.
Berragoon Hoo Ha – Berragoon Poem x Bonlac Gi**lo
Another first carnival for this mare and she really showed what she has to offer. Smooth, smart and agile all at the same time – quickly becoming one of the favourites.
All these beauties have gone out for a well earnt rest – looking forward to what the 2025 polocrosse season has to bring for us. ☀️
