This June long weekend, a number of our Junior Sharks teams will join thousands of players from across Australia as they head to Melbourne for two of the biggest events on the junior representative basketball calendar.

A special mention to our 𝟭𝟮𝗚𝟭, 𝟭𝟮𝗕𝟭 and 𝟭𝟰𝗕𝟭 teams who have been invited to compete in the 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗖 - one of Australia's premier junior basketball tournaments. Featuring 128 teams from around the country, the Classic brings together many of the nation's strongest representative programs for a weekend of high-level competition.

Our Sharks teams will compete in:

Good luck also to all of our other Junior Sharks teams competing in the 𝗡𝗨𝗡𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧. With more than 𝟭,𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠𝗦 taking part across the weekend, it is one of the largest junior basketball tournaments in Australia and provides a fantastic opportunity to compete against teams from across the country.

A reminder to all members that the Sutherland District Basketball Association Annual General Meeting will be held this Wednesday at Sutherland Basketball Stadium.

The AGM will commence at 7PM. Members attending are encouraged to arrive with sufficient time to sign in prior to the commencement of the meeting.

𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣... 𝗪𝗘'𝗥𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧!

And there is a lot of us.

Our Lost Property collection is overflowing at the moment with hoodies, jackets, drink bottles, trackies, the random shoe and plenty more. We even have several bags also in the office filled with items that have been left behind.

If you've been missing something, there's a good chance it could be here, so next time you're at the stadium, come and take a look.

We do keep 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗬 for a number of weeks, but eventually unclaimed items are donated to new homes (via a charity). Note: Drink bottles that have been left behind can be found next to the sinks beside Court 3

Another big weekend of Sharks basketball with MJL, JPL, Waratah League and NBL1 teams all in action.

𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗬
Our Senior Waratah & NBL1 teams are on the road for a full day of away games as they take on Sydney Comets, Marrickville and Camden Valley Wildfire.

𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬
The Shark Tank is busy with our MJL teams in action across Courts 1, 3 & 4.

Good luck to our 16G JPL who are up in Newcastle this weekend taking on Newcastle, Maitland and Illawarra.

Our Senior teams are back on the road Sunday with Youth League and NBL1 sides taking on Penrith Panthers and Central Coast Waves.

Keep the kids active in the upcoming school holidays with Sharks Holiday Camps.

Whether your child is new to basketball, already playing local competition, or simply looking to stay active and have fun — our camps are designed to improve skills, build confidence and keep kids engaged in a fun, supportive environment.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥?

Players are split into age groups on the day, playing on different courts:
