Sutherland Basketball Stadium is located off Rawson Avenue, behind Sutherland Leisure Centre, and opposite Sutherland PCYC. We can easily be found by searching Sutherland District Basketball in google maps. We offer a wide variety of comps (local senior and junior, wheelchair and representative teams), training programs and events available @ the stadium. If you can't find the information you are

𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 | 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗦 𝟭𝟭𝟱 𝗖𝗢𝗘 𝟴𝟴

The Sharks celebrated Lochlan Hutchison's 100th NBL1 game in style, producing one of their most complete performances of the season to record a 115-88 win over the Centre of Excellence.

Tyler Robertson led the way with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, while Bailey Macarthur added 22 points on an efficient 9-from-13 shooting performance.

Jason Spurgin controlled the paint with 20 points and 9 rebounds, and Harrison Raynor provided a spark off the bench with 14 points, including four three-pointers.

In a fitting result on his milestone night, Hutch finished with 11 assists, 6 steals and 3 rebounds as the Sharks shared the ball superbly, recording 30 assists and knocking down 18 three-pointers as a team.

The Sharks will look to back it up tomorrow afternoon when they travel to face Hills Hornets in the second game of their Round 13 double-header.

The Sharks Men take a four-point lead into the main break after a strong offensive first half.

Bailey Macarthur leads the way with 14 points, including 4-from-4 from beyond the arc, while Jason Spurgin has added 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Lochlan Hutchison has controlled the game with 8 assists, helping the Sharks shoot 46.5% from the field and 42.9% from three.

Maddy Norris led all scorers with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks, while Abigail Curtin finished with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Emily Garland added 9 points, including 3 three-pointers.

A tough result after a hard-fought 40 minutes, with just one point separating the teams at the final buzzer.

The Sharks Women will look to bounce back tomorrow when they travel to face Hills at 1130am. 🦈

This Saturday night at our NBL1 Past Players Round, we'll celebrate a special milestone as the first Sharks player reaches 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗡𝗕𝗟𝟭 games playing for the Sutherland Sharks.

Even more impressive, there are currently four other Sharks players circling within 10 games of the same milestone - including three Sharks juniors who have come through our pathway.

The Sutherland District Basketball Association extends its sympathy to the Cooper family following the passing of Michael Cooper.

Michael represented both Sutherland and Jannali throughout his playing days and was a valued member of the local basketball community. He will be remembered by many for his involvement in the game and the friendships he formed over the years.

Our thoughts are with Michael’s family, friends and all those who knew him, including his father Gus Cooper, a Life Member of our Association.

For those who would like to pay their respects, a memorial service will be held at Lake Macquarie this Friday afternoon.
