• All Club General Rules and Bylaws apply.
• Photos must be submitted within 7 days of capture.

Eligibility
• Open to current financial Sussex Inlet Fishing Club members.
• Fish may be caught anywhere in Australia.

Entries are to be submitted to:

Once the club's online entry system is available, entries may also be submitted through the club website.

Scoring
• Points are calculated by multiplying fish length by the approved ANSA factor.
• Only approved species listed on the club factor sheet are eligible.
• Monthly winners are determined by the single highest scoring eligible fish recorded during that calendar month.
• The Committee may apply a gamefish points cap for monthly awards if required.
Season Champion
• Unlimited entries may be submitted throughout the season.
• Only the highest scoring fish from each species counts.
• Maximum of one fish per species.
• Maximum of ten species count toward the season total.
• Maximum of three gamefish species may count.
• Highest combined eligible points wins.

🚨 SUSSEX INLET COMMUNITY ALERT 🚨

Residents are advised that a large migration of tournament bream fishermen is expected to arrive in Sussex Inlet in tge following days.

Locals should not be alarmed if they observe:
• Boats capable of reaching 80km/h racing through the basin to catch fish roughly the size of a thonged foot.
• Groups of grown men discussing 4lb fluorocarbon leader as though they're negotiating a United Nations peace treaty.
• Anglers carrying 14 rods, 6 tackle trays and electronics worth more than their first house.
• Excited celebrations over a fish measuring 38.2cm.
• Men repeatedly saying: "They're here..." "No, they've shut down." "Wait for the tide." "Wait for the moon." "Wait for the cloud cover." "Wait for the barometer." "Wait for the water temp to come up 0.3 degrees."

Residents may also notice competitors staring at droppffs, pontoons and boat hulls for extended periods while muttering phrases such as:
"There's definitely a big one under there."

Authorities remind locals not to approach bream fishermen immediately after losing a fish beside the boat. During this sensitive period they may spend several hours analysing whether the cause was leader diameter, hook gauge, lure colour, boat angle, water clarity, planetary alignment or Mercury being in retrograde.

Despite appearances, these anglers are generally harmless and contribute greatly to local businesses throughout the weekend.

On a serious note, welcome to Sussex Inlet. We hope you enjoy our town, support the local businesses, catch plenty of fish and have a great tournament.

Good luck to all competitors.
