Triathlon NSW is the governing body for Triathlon and Multisport in New South Wales. Triathlon is a sport comprising of three disciplines; Swimming, Cycling and Running. Duathon combines Cycling and Running, and Aquathlon combines Swimming and Running. Regardless of your age or ability level, Triathlon offers a range of events, training and development programs to suit all newcomers and competitive athletes alike.

This weekend 46 athletes and 7 coaches from across NSW are on the Central Coast for a combined Pathways camp to kickstart the season.

From bike skills to education, forming new friendships and having the opportunity to put it all together at the Central Coast Triathlon Club club race tomorrow, it's set to be an incredible weekend of triathlon development!

🏁22 clubs! One start line for every woman who's ever thought "maybe me." 🙌

We're excited to announce the NSW clubs funded to deliver this season's Finish Lines Not Finish Times program. From mother and daughter racing together at Northern Beaches Ocean Dragons triathlon club to women-only training and race waves at Cronulla Triathlon Club and Warringah Triathlon Club and a strong regional push via Bathurst Wallabies Triathlon Club (Official) Dubbo Hippos Triathlon Club Tamworth Triathlon Club and beyond; there is a club and event ready to make the maybe a reality!

Last season, 615 women and girls took part. 95% said they're staying in the sport. 94% said a welcoming club gave them the confidence to start.

With $25,000 in funding going to support a new season, we can't wait to welcome another 600+ women to our sport across the State.

Thanks to the Office of Sport for the continued support of this incredible initiative.

Here's how it's shaping up👇🏽
Port Macquarie Triathlon Club are our fast starters grabbing those early entries and setting the intent for Forster 27. They are closely followed by Cronulla Triathlon Club and the team at Brighton Baths Athletics Club 🐻‍❄️

In the Juniors Club Champs, it's the Northern Beaches Ocean Dragons triathlon club leading the charge.

Central Coast Triathlon Club (NSW, Aust) are kicking off their triathlon season with a full program of multisport options for all ages.

Macarthur Triathlon Club are back with a Duathlon that's on a closed course for fast, safe racing - adults and kids welcome!

Maitland Triathlon Club are also kicking off the season with a triathlon, plus a duathlon for those who don't want to get wet quite yet 🚴🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️

Dean is back for another season - ready to take on new personal challenges while juggling life as a tri‑dad to two young athletes in the NSW Pathway Program.

🏊🚴🏃 Meet returning NSW Triathlon Ambassador, Peta‑Maree Kearns from Maitland Triathlon Club

From discovering triathlon in a team event back in 2019 to conquering her first 70.3, Peta‑Maree set some great goals last season (and smashed them) whilst sharing her journey to encourage everyone else along the way.

This season she’s back - ready to support others, tackle local races, and chase her biggest goal yet: becoming an Ironman at Port Macquarie.
