The BMD Northcliffe Supporters Club was founded in 1988 for the purpose of generating funds for the BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club which was founded in February 1947 as a result of the expanding suburbs of both Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. The Life Saving Club uses the funds from the Supporters Club to educate, train and provide vital equipment for the 300 + Life Savers who patrol Northcliffe beach each year which is an essential service to our local community. The bistro opens for breakfast from 7.30am - 11:30am and then Lunch & Dinner until 9.00pm 7 days a week. Bar, Gaming, TAB & Keno open from 10am until late. All profits raised from the Supporters Club go directly to the BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club and help our volunteer life savers patrol the beach.

Our final BMD Northcliffe Nipper Sign On Day for the 2026/27 season is happening this Sunday, 13 September at Surfers Paradise State School.

Bring along togs, goggles and a towel to complete the annual swim competency.
Membership paperwork will be available on the day. Nipper uniforms will also be available to purchase.

Nippers is open to children who are a minimum of 5 years of age on 1 October, 2026.

We wish to advise that the club will be closed this Wednesday evening, 2 September, for a large private function.

We will be closing the club at 2:30pm to set up for the evening function. Last orders will be 2pm.

Unfortunately this also means there will be no Wednesday Member Draw this week but we will jackpot the draw by $100 to next week.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Looking for a great way to get the kids active, build their confidence in the ocean?

Nippers is all about having fun at the beach while learning valuable surf and water safety skills. Kids develop their swimming and surf skills, make new friends and build confidence through a range of activities on the sand and in the water.

Our first Northcliffe Nippers Sign On for the 2026/27 season is happening this Sunday, 30 August at Surfers Paradise State School.
