I wish to give back to the community and share my knowledge. Every Monday 9-11am

What a beautiful location for our last catch up of Term 3 . The sun was shining 🌞🌞🌞🌞

Only a few fish caught at the start of the session, a whiting and a bream, but lots of fun was had with cast nets and yabby pumps.

We played a super fun team challenge that got all the kids and one mum running !!! 🏃🏃🏃🏃

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to our KD Fishing Sunshine Coast community for all the support and care you provided on Monday when it was needed 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

🎣Fishing homeschool catch up / lessons 🎣

Location: Beach at Noosa River Holiday Park
( 4 Russell St Noosaville)

Parking on Russell st

Walk through the park, onto the beach and walk towards the sand bags, head around the corner we will be set up there.

📌NO driving / parking in Caravan park
📌NO access to the toilets in caravan park ( you need an access code- closest toilets would be Gympie Terrace)

Time: 9-11am 🎣🎣🐟🐟

Cost: $5 cash donation

Please bring

🌟$5 per person that is fishing as I provide bait and tuition ( with the support of my mum and dad)

🌟 Your own fishing rod and tackle box( inc hooks, swivels and sinkers - you can purchase from your local fishing store). We can help advise what essentials you need for your tackle box 👍

🌟 A cloth, bucket 🪣 , long nose pliers or something similar so you can learn to take the hook out safely.

🌟 A bag or esky to take home your catch 🐟

Well the Noosa Marina Jetty was another huge hit yesterday!!!!

Welcome to the new families that joined us and welcome back to the families that we hadn't seen for a while so nice to see you all😃😃

The fish were biting from the get go!!!

🐟1x 40cm Flathead
🐟1x 27cm Cod
🐟1x Tarwhine
🐟9x Bream ( two that were taken home for dinner)

We had a team building activity called

"RIG A ROD CHALLENGE "

which involved 4 teams that has to work together to rig a rod in 10 mins.

It was great to see everyone working together / helping each other and showing what they have learnt at KD FISHING!
( Thanks to the parent helpers that got involved)

We have one week left of term next week. 👍👍 See you then

We have 2 weeks left before the holidays. If you can't make it to fishing don't worry please send us a text ( number on the back of the board) and we can organise getting it back. 😊🎣

🎣Fishing homeschool catch up / lessons 🎣

LOCATION: Noosa Marina Jetty
Access through the shops , follow round to the right heading towards the big jetty

You may or may not have been aware that this favourite fishing spot of ours has been closed to the public all year due to youngsters fishing there ( without adults) damaging the jetty and nearby boats.

The Managers at the Noosa Marina are kindly allowing KD FISHING GROUP to fish there AGAIN this week. They will open the gates from 8am-12pm. Providing we are respectful and wel behaved ( which I know we will be 😉) we will hopefully be able to fish here again in the future.


PARKING: plenty of car parking.

There is still work on the Donella bridge so please take into consideration the traffic.

TOILETS: at Marina

TIME: 9-11am
