RCFC would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Sunshine Coast Wanderers Football Club for standing in solidarity with the Nepalese community following the devastating floods in Nepal.

Wanderers will observe a minute’s silence in memory of those who lost their lives. Their junior players will also be collecting donations throughout the day to support the Nepal Flood Disaster Appeal.
We encourage our RCFC members, families, friends and the wider Nepalese community to come along and support this meaningful initiative. RCFC will also be there to stand alongside Wanderers and show our support. 🙏⚽

To our Families, Players, Volunteers and the wider Football Community,
Like many of you, we have watched with heavy hearts the tragic news from Nepal this week. Severe flooding following a glacial collapse on the Nepal-Tibet border has devastated communities in the Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading districts. Lives have been lost, homes destroyed, and many families are still searching for loved ones. This tragedy is being felt here on the Sunshine Coast by people with family and friends in those affected areas.
On behalf of Wanderers Football Club, we extend our deepest sympathies to the Nepalese community, both here in Australia and abroad.
Before tomorrow's men's game, we will observe a minute's silence in memory of those who have lost their lives. We invite everyone at Ballinger Park to join us in this moment of reflection.
Our junior players will be collecting donations around the grounds throughout the day, and we encourage those who can to contribute. For anyone unable to attend, or who prefers to donate directly, the Emergency Action Alliance Nepal Flood Disaster Appeal is now open. Supported by the Australian Government and 15 leading aid agencies, donations can be made online or by calling 1300 939 000. All funds collected at Ballinger Park will be forwarded to this appeal, and we will publish the total raised by our club.
We also want to acknowledge the Royal Nepalese football club, the Napeli Society Sunshine Coast and the entire Nepalese community. Our thoughts are with you, your families and loved ones. Please know that the Buderim Wanderers community stands beside you, and if there is any way we can assist, we are here to help.
Football is known as the world game because it brings people together across cultures, countries and communities. At Buderim Wanderers, we are proud to be a club made up of families from many backgrounds. When one part of our football family is hurting, we all feel that pain.
Tomorrow, we stand with Nepal.
