Dear Students and Families,

Each year, we aim to cast our attention towards a specific community issue with a view to raising both funds and awareness for the cause. As strong advocates for non-violence and anti-bullying, we have developed a partnership with a major charity that assists people experiencing domestic violence.

RizeUp Australia is a community-driven organisation dedicated to supporting the many families affected by domestic and family violence in Australia. They have created various networks and programs to connect survivors to specialist services which includes access to counselling, support programs for traumatised children and logistical assistance for those fleeing a violent household. Their flagship program furnishes new homes for affected families and helps them re-build their lives after escaping a violent environment.

📢 NEW CLASS ALERT: SUNSHINE BEACH! 📢

We are so excited to announce a brand new Kids Class launching THIS Wednesday at Sunshine Beach State High School! 🥋✨

If you have little ones looking to build confidence, focus, and fitness, this is the perfect place to start.

🗓 When: Wednesdays 🥋 Instructor: Sensei Ella ⏰ Kids Class: 4:30pm – 5:15pm

This class runs right before our Family Class at 5:50pm, making it a great schedule for the whole family!

What a cracking couple of weeks! There’s been action everywhere across the region, and the momentum just keeps building!

Recent Gradings 🥋

Sunshine Coast – Sunday 9 November:
We kicked things off with an awesome Sunshine Coast grading where 11 students absolutely crushed it. Strong karate, plenty of smiles, and a great vibe from start to finish. A fantastic effort from everyone involved!

Fraser Coast – Saturday 15 November:
Then, today, the Fraser Coast crew brought the heat with a massive 44 students grading. Huge turnout, huge energy, and some seriously impressive work on the floor. A massive congratulations to everyone who graded today — you earned every bit of it!
