Update - Mooloolaba Boat Harbour entrance shoaling event
Ahead of the Easter long weekend โ mariners are reminded a shoaling event remains present in the Mooloolaba Boat Harbour entrance channel.
Maritime Safety Queensland advises all vessel operators transiting the Mooloolah River bar to:
โข Continue to navigate via the western channel which is marked by Virtual Aids to Navigation.
โข Exercise extreme caution when crossing the bar
โข Monitor on-water and weather conditions carefully before heading out, and while on the water.
The dredge, currently on-site will undertake clearing of the shoal as conditions permit.
