So proud of these kids! ❤️

It was a tough day out there for some of them. For others, it was their very first competition.

And some of these kids walked into our gym on day one so shy they could barely look their coach in the eye. Now they’re stepping onto a competition mat, in front of a room full of people, ready to give it their best.

That’s the stuff we’re proud of.

Facing challenges, doing hard things and finding out you’re capable of more than you thought.

Every time they step out there, they grow a little more. ❤️

And a huge thank you to everyone who came down on the day to support, and all the parents who gave up their Sundays to be there. You guys are the best! ❤️

Some photos and videos from a very special weekend at Australian Nationals 🇦🇺

So good to have so much of the Legacy family together in one place. Our Sunshine Coast team with our friends from Sydney and Legacy teams from around Australia. This is always one of my favourite parts of these competitions. Everyone together, wearing the same patch and supporting each other.

Legacy finished 3rd overall in Men’s Gi and 4th in No-Gi. We are a small team compared to some of the big competition teams, so this is a great result and something we can all be proud of.

Lots of good matches, medals, hard fights and good times together.

Very proud of everyone who competed and everyone who came to support us. Win or lose, we learn, we get better and we keep going.

Team Legacy Sunshine Coast getting ready to send it at the AFBJJ Australian Nationals this weekend! 🔥

Everyone’s flying down tomorrow, ready to compete across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We’ve got an awesome crew of adults and kids competing, and we’ll be joining forces with the rest of the Legacy family from Sydney and around the country.

It’s going to be an epic weekend!

Thanks to everyone who’s turned up this week and helped the team sharpen their tools and get those final rounds in.
