Monday night is Party night!!! 🕺 I’ll be back on the dance floor with the ladies at Cinco Dance Fit tonight, alongside other instructors to cover some tracks while Fleur is away.

Last week around 50 of us showed up for the Easter Party! 🔥

The energy was unreal. The vibe was next level.

Your body is designed to MOVE so whether it’s dancing, pilates, swimming, running, yoga, or walking the beach, movement is crucial for your health and happiness!

I’ve been dancing since I was 3yrs old, it’s my joy, my therapy and my soul. And when the music hits - it’s on!

I love sharing it with others, and supporting other amazing dance fitness instructors in our community. Because together we make spaces for connection, for joy and to just forget the world.

But if dancing is not your thing - find YOUR fun!
Because that will make getting active and moving your body truly effortless.

There are moments that mean more than they look. And last week Nicola from MisFits World generously invited me up on stage to take a track. And Manuela Raetzsch snapped the moment. Just one song. A few minutes. But for me… it was everything.

Nicola, thank you for sharing your stage. That generosity is what this community is about. 💗💃

After 12 years of teaching dance fitness I’ve lived the highs and the humbling lows. As many of us have. For me it’s been Hip surgery. Shoulder injuries. Post-partum recovery. Grief and loss...

But nothing prepared me for the brain injury I sustained in 2022 and the long road to recovery that followed…

An inivisble injury that left me unable to dance, sometimes couldn’t speak properly, unable to balance, unable to think, unable to remember, unable to socialise or to control my body.

There were weeks when I couldn’t even step outside while my brain slowly rebuilt the abilities we all take for granted, cognition and structure.

Through it all, returning to dance was the goal for me. The lighthouse that guided my resilience to heal my brain.

Music and dance is what I love, what lifts me up and what energises me. So as I slowly worked my way back to my students and my classes, the welcome and judgement free space to come together for the joy and relearn together was everything for me.

Since moving to the Sunshine Coast I’ve been welcomed into the most generous, high-energy, heart-led community of instructors who create joy week after week. Women who show up, hold space, bring fire, and build belonging.

Last minute changes meant I was in Kawana - and just HAD to dance with these gorgeous gals once again tonight - and WOW! We turned it OUUUUUUT! 🔥🔥🔥 💪💪💃

I walked in all fancy and walked out hot, sweaty, taller, stronger, happy and glowing (and absolutely drenched 😅) look at my face! 😁

I even got a selfie this time! 🥳💃 Yay!!! Thanks all you gorgeous ladies! See you all again on Tuesday! 🕺

The beauty of Mari’s class is that they’re basically HIIT in disguise. 💪 💃

You’re dripping in sweat, and I mean dripping! 😅 Heart racing, legs on fire… and somehow still grinning because the music is THAT good.

It’s strong. It’s fierce.
It’s full send from the first track to the last.
