Well battle Yakers It’s been months since Paulie managed to hit the water, but the drought is officially over! Teaming up with Gibbo, the guys decided to gamble on a brand-new spot and the risk paid off in a massive way.

Before launching, Paulie custom painted a couple of Apex 50mm vibes, a bold colour choice that turned out to be the absolute winning ticket of the day.

That crafty custom paint job delivered a trophy size fish!! a staggering 52.5 cm Australian bass that stands as the biggest Paulie has ever laid eyes on, let alone reeled in… FAT & CHUNKY 🤯

While the scales went unchecked, this absolute tank was a true heavyweight, proving once again that photos and video never do a fish of that caliber justice.
As if catching a personal best wasn't enough, the drama nearly ended in heartbreak when Paulie dropped the monster during the inital fight but quick thinking, he flipped the bail arm over immediately where he dropped it and the beast hammered it a second time for a redemption strike you only dream about.

I’ve said it many times the Apex 50mm vibe is just a weapon!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to our very first WFC Community event held last Sunday at Bribie Island, and to the legends from and Fishy-Baits for getting behind us!

Good people, good laughs, good fishing (s**t bread-I'll do better-haha)… this is what WFC is all about! 🎣
