🛠️ For the Tinkerers: Sea-Doo FishPro Auxiliary Battery Install! 🚤⚡I’ve had several people ask exactly how and where to safely mount a 100Ah lithium battery for a trolling motor inside the Sea-Doo ST3 hull (0:00). It’s a tight squeeze, so I just dropped a detailed, step-by-step video on the channel breaking down how I custom-built my setup (0:13).It’s not a viral video, but if you like to turn your own wrenches and want to get it right the first time, this is for you (0:13)!The Quick Specs & Placement:Max Battery Size: It needs to be right around 260mm wide x 210mm high x 170mm deep (10" x 8" x 6.5") to fit properly (0:25).Where to mount it: There is a hollow raised section in the hull where you can safely use 20mm screws without puncturing the ski (1:07).The Sweet Spot: Measure 130mm off the hull side and 140mm from the engine mount bolt to locate the perfect starting point for your tray (1:14).In the video, I also show how I fabricated a simple metal tray out of scrap aluminium, used marine silicone (Sikaflex) to seal it, and added rubber padding so the screw heads never rub against your battery (1:36).This setup has survived two years of heavy surf and serious chop without budding a single millimetre (2:48).Check out the full breakdown here if you're planning your own build! 👇🎥 Watch the full guide:
