If we’re being honest and vulnerable, I’m of the view that a full heart can sometimes be difficult to truly attain.
Without getting into the psychological weeds, as that requires a separate forum … we’re human, and our heart can break in so many ways.
My heart breaks in particular to those without hope …
To those without people, places, things, and tools to support them through what can feel like the exhaustive wrestling, spiraling decay, and drowning of one’s internal world. An enveloping of darkness.
I don’t have the answers. But I’m committed and dedicated to this ‘shift’ I’m currently in, to explore, and to try to find out.
After spending this week in the Sunshine Coast, QLD for the ‘All Of You 2024’ Conference, along with , I can without hesitation say that my heart is indeed, very full.
Recapping the last four days would be challenging to give justice to. Instead, here’s a selection of ten photos (out of the 100+ taken) during this time.
CEO of YouTurn, during his welcome speech reminded us of the quote by Marianne Williamson, and although we may have heard of it before, it’s sitting with me differently at this point in my life, and thought it was worth sharing:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Thank you to absolutely everyone involved, and, to everyone I was able to meet, even briefly. I’m grateful and ready, to do and be more, however I can, with whatever I have to give.
