A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has generously donated towards buying shoes for underprivileged children here in Cambodia 🇰🇭. Your kindness and compassion are making a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending a religious fundraising festival, where I was honoured to present almost 50 pairs of new shoes to the head monks at the school. The shoes will be personally distributed to the children this week, with the school determining which children are in the greatest need and should receive them first.

Seeing your generosity transformed into something so meaningful was incredibly humbling. On behalf of the children, the school, and the local community, thank you for your support and for helping bring smiles to so many young faces.

The good news is that I still have another 50 pairs of shoes at home, which I’ll be presenting during my next visit to Cambodia.

I’ll also soon be launching another fundraiser, this time to purchase school uniforms for as many children as possible. Education changes lives, and together we can help ensure these children not only have shoes on their feet but also the opportunity to attend school with dignity and pride.

Thank you once again for your generosity, friendship, and ongoing support. Together, we’re making a genuine difference.

Today, Street Edge Krav Maga International was honoured to deliver another No Way Self Protection Workshop at Total Fusion Garden City, and what an incredible day it was.

Congratulations to every one of the amazing ladies who attended. Every participant walked through the doors with little or no previous self-defence training or experience. A few hours later, they walked away with new knowledge, practical skills, greater confidence, and a stronger belief in their own ability to recognise danger, avoid violence where possible, and protect themselves if they ever have no other choice.

While learning self-protection is a journey rather than a destination, today each of these ladies took an important first step towards becoming a far more difficult target for anyone wishing to cause them harm. That is something every one of you should be incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to our outstanding team of instructors at Street Edge Krav Maga International. Your professionalism, patience, encouragement, and commitment to empowering others continue to make a genuine difference in our community.

We would also like to sincerely thank the wonderful team at Total Fusion Garden City for your support, hospitality, and commitment to helping make this workshop possible.

All donations received from this workshop will be used to by school uniforms for disadvantaged children in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

🛡️ WHY WE TEACH BREAK FALLS AT KRAV4KIDS 🛡️

At Krav4Kids, one of the most important skills we teach our children is how to safely break fall. 👊

Many people think self-protection is only about punches, kicks or defending against bullies — but in reality, one of the most common ways children get injured is simply by falling over. 🧒⚠️

Whether it’s at school, during sport, on the playground, riding a bike or even during rough play, children fall all the time. Without the correct skills, a simple fall can result in injuries to the head, wrists, elbows or shoulders. 🤕

Learning break falls helps children:
✅ Protect their head during a fall
✅ Reduce the chance of serious injury
✅ Build coordination and body awareness
✅ Develop confidence under pressure
✅ Stay calmer during unexpected situations

Most importantly, break fall training teaches children not to panic when they hit the ground. Instead, they learn how to react safely and recover quickly. 💪

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Today’s session focused on something every parent thinks about but hopes never happens — abduction prevention. Our goal is simple: give children the skills, awareness, and confidence to recognise danger and respond immediately.

🛡️ Using our padded suit training, students were placed into controlled but realistic scenarios, allowing them to apply their skills under pressure. This helps build fast decision-making, strong reactions, and the confidence to act when seconds matter.

⚡ At Krav4Kids, we don’t just teach techniques — we teach real-world survival skills. Every drill is designed to prepare children for two key threats:

➡️ Abduction

Krav4Kids Training – Real World Skills for Real World Situations 🎒🛡️

Today’s Krav4Kids class focused on a simple yet highly effective concept — teaching our students how to quickly unstrap their school bag and use it as a shield or distraction in the event of a potential abduction attempt.

This practical skill gives children an immediate layer of protection, allowing them to create distance, disrupt an attacker’s intent, and buy critical time to escape. Importantly, this is never taught in isolation — it is always reinforced alongside our core fundamentals: Guard Up, Verbalisation, Movement, Scanning, and Self-Assessment.

A major focus today was also on situational awareness 👀 — recognising pre-incident indicators, identifying unusual behaviour, and trusting their instincts. Awareness is often the first and most powerful line of defence.

We continue to emphasise that self-protection is not about fighting — it’s about thinking, reacting, and escaping safely. Through repetition, scenario-based training, and building confidence, our students are developing skills that could one day make all the difference.

This weeks Krav4Kids class was all about ground defence—an essential skill for real-world self-protection. Our young warriors learned how to respond if an attacker or abductor attempts to hold them down, focusing on strong positioning, escaping techniques, and creating opportunities to get back to their feet safely.

A highlight of the session was our scenario-based training, where one of our instructors suited up in a padded suit. This allowed the kids to confidently practice their strikes with full effort in a safe and controlled environment.
