🏓 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! 👨‍👧‍👦❤️

To all the dads out there, especially the ones who spend their weekends chasing a little yellow ball around a pickleball court… this one’s for you! 😂

Today we celebrate the dads who:

1. Think they can beat their kids… and occasionally do!
2. Give expert advice that nobody actually asked for.
3. Say “just one more game” approximately 47 times.
4. Blame the paddle, the wind, the ball, the sun… basically everything except themselves! 😜
5. And most importantly, make time to have fun and create memories with their families.

Whether you're smashing winners, chasing balls into the fence, or just enjoying a hit with the kids, we hope you have an awesome Father’s Day!

From everyone at Sunbury Pickleball Club, have a fantastic day, dads! ❤️

And remember… Dad doesn’t have to win. He just has to look like he meant to hit it that way! 😂

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀! 🥈

Despite a huge push for gold, the USA proved just too strong in the end.

We are incredibly proud of our Aussie Masters Team for securing Silver. Not only is this the second medal Australia has ever won, but now the highest in Australian pickleball history at the Pickleball World Cup.

The entire team performed brilliantly and represented Australia with real pride on the world stage.

Congratulations! 👏

🎉 A HUGE thank you to Pickld!

We’re incredibly excited to announce that the team at Pickld has generously donated a fantastic range of equipment, worth hundreds of dollars, to help us make our Junior Open Day on Sunday, 27 September an amazing experience for our young players! 🙌

A massive thank you to Chris and the team at Pickld for supporting Sunbury Pickleball Club and helping us provide the best possible introduction to pickleball for children who are trying the sport for the first time. 💙

We’ve already had lots of parents registering their children, and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more families on the day!

Great start!

With wins against Belgium, Nepal and Kenya's forfeit, Australia clinches the top spot in Group F and move onto the Round of 32 of the 2026 Pickleball World Cup.

Australia will now play Singapore in the next game.
