TRACS The club is associated with MAAA (Model Aeronautics Association of Australia), and has a membership of around 40 members.

Townsville Radio Aeronautical Control Society (TRACS);

To promote and enjoy the safe flying of RC model aircraft;

Club Patron - Geoff Whebell - Cleveland Bay Chemical Co;

2020-21 Club President - Grant Whittome It has a flying field available with programs in place to teach the fine art of building and flying radio controlled aircraft.

Hi fellow members,
Well today we ventured out to tackle the Flying field,mowing and general cleanup
After all this rain the field was rather wet and in desperate need of some TLC .
A big thanks to all the members up turned up this morning a lend a hand we all very much appreciated your help .
Also a big thanks to Justyn from Specialized Mowing and Land Services
who went out on Friday to initially slash the field as the grass was way to high for our ride on mowers , this slasher is amazing piece of equipment
So as of now the TRACS field is open for business 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Please see date for this year’s TRACS Christmas 🎄 Party
Russell McIntosh has kindly offered to host at his place this year thanks Russ.

So we will require numbers of course for catering purposes,however TRACS will be providing
The BBQ and Soft drinks , BYO alcohol

We ask if people attending to bring a dish of sorts weather deserts or salads would be appreciated .
